Exercise Interruptus…

Due to having been out of town on a work assignment I’ve totally messed up week 5. I did get some tennis in for cardio at the beginning and end of that week. I’ve decided to continue on with the week 6 schedule. I’ll pick up the missed workouts either along the way or at the end.

Today I conquered Cardio X. *grin*

I’ve also been feeling some hormonal mood swings, which has been farking with my smoke-quit. I *gasp* even broke down and took a few drags…..*bad Daphne, bad Daphne* So, I’m dealing with that issue on top of getting back into my P90X swing.

On the hip side of things, the pain has eased and I’m hoping, hoping, hoping that it doesn’t flare up again, because that was another unforeseen obstacle.

I’m stuck on the weight loss for whatever reason. No change over the past couple of weeks other than a pound or two gained which is obviously not what I’m trying to accomplish. *sigh* I’ve started on Atro-Phex, stacked on my Syntha-6 protein drink. Hoping to get something going on the weight loss front. I’m also going to lower my calorie intake (even though Tony does say to eat more—I guess at my age that’s not gonna work).

See? I just knew that at my age losing weight and trying to get fit wouldn’t be easy. I guess I didn’t realize it would be so tough, because inside I feel so young. But, and this is a good “but”, I’m going to perservere no matter what. It may take longer than I expect or desire but it will happen.  :)
