Music is another passion of mine!! Getting goosebumps when you listen to Beethoven’s Pastorale Symphony (my all-time favorite symphony!) is certainly a clear sign of being a music lover.
I also come from a family of musicians, so its definitely in the “blood”. My great-great grandfather is Manuel Gregorio Tavarez, the “father” of the Puerto Rican danza.
His daughter is Elisa Tavarez, pianist and music teacher (I bought an album of her playing the piano–luckily found it from a dealer up in Canada).
My mother played the violin and piano. I played clarinet and flute and took a piano class in college. All of my siblings, my two children, my niece, and my nephews all played (or still play) instruments. (Some of us are also artists, but that’s for another page!)
