and though its upsetting and disappointing to me since I really want to stick to the P90X plan, I also have to be smart and listen to my aching body…which is telling me that the burning sensation on my right outer hip and the pain from the muscle spasm on my right back shoulder is a big “no go” sign to workout! My hubby also provided a voice of reason by telling me to rest for the day.
Instead I’ve spent the day resting, using ice and heating pad, and taking Aleve. Not much of an improvement so far, but I’m hoping a good night’s rest will allow me to continue on tomorrow. (I think tomorrow is X Stretch? I’m in a recovery week….thank the Gods! *s*)
I did stick to eating healthy, drinking my 8 glasses of water, and only allowed myself limited treats (a Ghirardelli’s piece of dark chocolate).
Took a nap, did some reading, and also got in some brainstorming on a roleplay I’m working on for AncientWorlds.
So, just because I didn’t get to workout doesn’t mean the day was a total disaster. *grin* Still always lots of other things to do and enjoy!!
