The Latest Haps, Mishaps, and Madness

First of all, Happy Holidays to those celebrating! Though I haven’t posted of late here, there has been lots going on in my life, both business and personal.

On the biz front, I’ve been doing some work for a few clients through Virtual Genie. I’m also busy re-vamping Celestial Realms which has been on the backburner for some time. Blue Rose Bookstore has been keeping us busy with customer orders and our new custom products available via Zazzle. Feel free to check out our designs – click here!

On the personal front, I’ve been fighting a nasty little cold I caught from my son (who should be getting a place with his buddies soon. yay!). Not to mention fighting it while working up at Disney with hubby. *blech* But we got back home safely and I had a few days in bed to recuperate and rest, watching football and NetFlix movies. I figure another day or two should put me back to full health. Oh! And my torn arm muscle is almost 100% healed so I’ll be getting back to working out. I definitely miss my workouts! And I’ll be tickled pink to lose the pounds I’ve gained in the past few months *groan*. Hopefully, no more injuries will interfere with my weight loss plans which have been so sidetracked.

For a while I was pretty busy with a new neighborhood, the Caribbean, over in AncientWorlds. Something I’ve got to get back to and finish up. Next on the list is designing and finishing the Boriken hood. ImagineDome is still providing fantasy lit info as I can get around to posting it.

Our old car about bit the dust, so we had to spend lots of time looking for a replacement. So far, we’re very happy with our Suzuki XL-7!

The holiday madness hasn’t hit too badly here, but then most of the family isn’t located nearby. Our baby Christmas tree is up, new wreath made from Michael’s items is out front, purple lights up outside around the front door, and a few decorations around the house. Not too much, but enough to spur a bit of the old holiday feeling.

Lastly, I hope to get back to my writing and finishing my cross-stitch project now that things are pretty much set for the holidays and I’m caught up from being out of town. As always, there’s something going on or planned for the near future to keep me busy and creative. *grin*

Tickled Pink…

that I’ve finally gotten my templates straightened out (I’d had to shuffle where I stored the files due to size limitations at my other web host *grrrr*) and relocated into the DreamPress Shop!!

Though I’ve been battling with a bad back for a few days, I’ve still continued to work as I can online. I found myself unable to stay in bed due to the discomfort and would just get up and get at it. You go, girl!

What else is up?

I’m continuing with my marketing training and writing up a new post for MLM Realms that should prove to be informative for any ladies wanting to rev up their business marketing. I joined what looks to be a pretty neat community of women at BraveHeart Woman.

On the other hand, I left another community I was a member of and promoting as an affiliate since I was dissatisfied with what I was paying for and didn’t get proper customer service for a problem I was encountering when I tried to access what I paid for. Isn’t that frustrating? You think its something good and then it turns into the proverbial you-know-what (think 4-letter word)!

The forums at MLM Realms are up and running! Stop by if you’d like to participate and ask me questions or share your concerns. Don’t worry, its relaxed and informal and I don’t bite. *wink*

I also hooked into Tumblr (for those who are into the social networking thing).

Alright! That’s pretty much the latest news from Daphne’s world. Its been hot as Hades here in Florida, so I’m staying cool in the a/c. I’ll get back to working out when my back heals. I’m plugging away to get more site writing done while dealing with daily life stuff. It just reminds me that we’re all going through the same things, just in different ways!
