My plans to continue with exercising have had to be modified due to this stubborn torn arm muscle that is healing at a snail’s pace.
However, I’ve been doing lots of walking! Now, this is a good thing, but its also a bit rough on my hip joints given the humidity here in South Florida. So, I’ve upped my dosage of the glucosamine chondroitin supplement I have handy. I also ice them as needed, and if really sore, take an Aleve.
I’ve never experienced such soreness in my hips. It feels like a burning sensation and if you press on the outer hip its as if there is a deep bruise there. Ouch!
Anyhow, though dealing with that issue, I’m still forging forwards as best I can. I’m also getting in some swimming, which is much less tough on the old bod.
Still taking my “female” supplements which have helped immensely with perimenopausal symptoms. Not many hot flashes, less moodiness, less fatigue! Yay!!
Now if only my arm would heal, then I could ramp back up to more intense workouts.
