Writings

I’ve long admired the written word. I can remember back to my first years in school–learning the alphabet and reading. What a discovery that was! I became such an avid bookreader that by the third grade I had my own spelling test, separate from the other kids. That passion for books continued on; I’d set up a small area of my room or the family room downstairs as my writing nook. I’d read while the family was watching television. I’d read anywhere. I recall my senior English lit teacher almost swooning when I chose “The Magus” by John Fowles as a project book (not the typical, easier reads the other students chose).

Anyhow, here I’ll be sharing various works of writing I’ve done through the years. I’m currently working on two novels, both fiction. One is in the general contemporary genre and the other should end up *fingers crossed* being a six-book fantasy series. And, as I posted earlier, I’m also involved in an online interactive roleplay game which is all accomplished by writing the story within the game’s storyline.

I’ve published one book of poetry, and should have another done soon.

Enjoy my writing offerings…and may it grace your day in some way, small or large. :)
